Instructions for Floats and Parade Participants

  • Float/Participant types include: truck/trailer, antique cars or motorcycles, dancers, floats, musicians, etc.
  • Any individual, group, club, or organization may join the parade.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to dress in costume. Have fun with this!
  • If you are a dance group, band, antique cars, etc., please put an approximate number of participants under “length.”
  • Please let us know the approximate length and width of float for line-up and ease of flow for the parade.
  • If the float is a trailer, please include the length of the vehicle that will be pulling it.
  • All floats MUST be decorated in Mardi Gras colors and/or décor!!
  • All floats MUST keep any company signage to a 2’ x 2’ size maximum, with a maximum of three signs placed around the float. If there are more, you will be asked to remove the extras.
  • All sponsorship parade participants will receive Mardi Gras beads to use on their float. We encourage you to purchase more - they go very quickly!!
  • ALL Mardi Gras participants, please keep your float and costume family friendly! Parade line-up begins at 2 pm for the parade start time of 3 pm.
  • PLEASE arrive for line-up no later than 2:30 pm so there is time to get you checked in and lined up.
